A veneer is an ultra-thin, translucent laminate which is custom-scuplted and bonded directly to the front of the existing tooth. The porcelain material and the bonding cement are very strong and can be expected to last many years.

The process requires only two office visits. During the first visit, impressions are made, the teeth are prepared and the color and shape of the new veneers are selected. Temporary bondings are used to cover the prepared teeth. About one week later, the finished veneers are bonded in place during the second visit.
